Well, there are 3 stories.

Story 1:

I was 12. It was summer. I was an average performing student. My mom had promised me that if I perform as per expectations, I will get a new bicycle. Well, as expected, I did not perform well. Yet, mom gave me the surprise of childhood. It was 8.30 PM when I returned with a new bicycle. We used to live on the 2nd floor of the apartment. After that, I had dinner and slept. When my eyes opened in the morning, the first thing I did, I ran to parking and checked whether was it a dream or real! And yes, it was real.

Story 2:

I was 16. This is a short one. My father brought me the first computer. We received delivery around the same time, 8.30 PM. The same thing happened. I spent some time on the computer, had dinner, and slept. After opening eyes in the morning, the first thing I confirmed whether there is a computer or not in a room or not. And it was there.

Story 3:

I was 20. I was doing graduation. I and some friends decided to go outside the city for an outing. Parents were not aware of the same. Honestly, at that time, it was a big step. We left around 4.30 PM and I returned around 9.30 PM. That time I had a phone with camera. The plan was instantaneous. The same thing, after returning home, did dinner and slept. Very next day, when I returned to college, I was confused. I was not sure whether it was a dream or that outing really happened. I was afraid to ask friends about the same. If I would have asked, irrespective of anything, I would have turned out at as “crazy person. I checked my mobile for pics, there were none. I checked chats related to the same, there were none. Anyways, I attended a few lectures in dilemma. After college, while I was talking to a friend, somehow, I shifted the topic to “outing. And yes!!! Bravo!!! It was no dream.

I am 30 now. In the past 10 years, I achieved many things but never felt the same as before. I guess, those were innocent days where small things used to make the difference in life.
